TM MONTANTE DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES OPENING OF LANCASTER SQUARE PARKING GARAGE
Company invested approximately $4.5 million in parking garage rehabilitation project
Buffalo, NY – TM Montante Development announced today that the Lancaster Square Parking Garage at 1277 Delaware Avenue that fronts Linwood Avenue is now open after the company invested approximately $4.5 million to purchase and fully rehabilitate it. The parking garage was transferred to TM Montante Development from the City of Buffalo in 2019.
“The opening of the Lancaster Square Parking Garage is a perfect complement to the recent opening of 1275 Delaware Avenue, which includes 33 residential units, as well as a popular and successful restaurant and Pilates studio,” said Chris Campos, President, TM Montante Development. “The 700-car garage not only meets the parking needs of all tenants, visitors and customers of 1275 Delaware, but it is also a critical element of the overall Lancaster Square project as it will support future mixed-use developments such as the adaptive re-use of the former homeopathic hospital buildings, which we are currently working on.”
The refurbishments to the parking garage included major structural repairs, full demolition and replacement of a stair tower, updated mechanical and electrical systems, and re-painting of the exterior walls.
Public parking rates at the Lancaster Square Parking Garage will initially be $1.50 per hour. The parking garage will only accept electronic payment.
