ROLE
Michele Messina is the Vice President of Property Management at TM Montante Development, bringing over 15 years of experience in real estate management. She leads the strategic direction of the property management division, with a focus on operational excellence, financial performance, and scalable growth. Michele also directs the expansion of the company’s third-party management platform, positioning the firm for continued growth beyond Western New York. Her leadership ensures alignment between operational execution and enterprise-level business objectives while driving long-term asset value.
EXPERIENCE
Michele provides executive oversight of TM Montante Development’s commercial and residential portfolios, leading cross-functional teams across operations, accounting, maintenance, and client services. She is responsible for setting performance standards, establishing KPIs, and driving accountability across the organization to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
Her experience includes directing budgeting and financial strategy, optimizing cost structures, and implementing operational systems that improve efficiency and transparency. Michele works closely with ownership and executive leadership to align property-level performance with broader organizational goals, while also advising on capital planning, vendor strategy, and asset positioning.
A key driver of business growth, Michele has led the development and expansion of the company’s third-party management platform, securing new client relationships and strengthening long-term partnerships. She plays an integral role in business development efforts, proposal strategy, and client retention, ensuring the delivery of value-driven services.
Michele’s leadership and commitment to excellence were recognized with the Property Manager of the Year award from the Greater Buffalo Building Owners and Managers Association in 2013.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Real Estate. Michele is actively involved in the community, previously serving as President of the Greater Buffalo Building Owners and Managers Association and on the Board of Directors for Queen City Performing Arts. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Homespace, supporting at-risk youth.
Michele resides in West Seneca with her husband and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing the piano, and being with her family.
