The RIVERVIEW INCENTIVE for SOLAR ENERGY Program

Program Summary

TM Montante Development, developer of Riverview Solar Technology Park, is now offering its tenants a solar energy solution that provides electricity at a rate 10% lower than the rates provided by the utility. RISE is an exclusive real estate incentive program available only to businesses locating their operations at Riverview. The program’s mission is to spur sustainable economic development through solar project development. RISE subscribers will recognize a 10% cost savings on the energy produced through the program. RISE will feature two options for those businesses interested in taking advantage of these energy savings; the RISE PPA and the RISE LEASE Program. 

 

RISE LEASE	RISE PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)
The RISE LEASE is an agreement by the Tenant to lease an on-site solar energy system from TM Montante while occupying space at Riverview. The combined cost of your lease payment plus the cost of your new electricity bill will be less than the cost of your old electricity bill, which means you’ll be saving money from Day 1.	The RISE PPA is an agreement by the Tenant to purchase solar energy that is produced from an on-site solar array at a predetermined cost per kWh. The payments will be based on the actual energy produced by the system, targeting a 10% reduction of the cost of energy.
Program Details TM Montante Development will design a custom solar energy system based on a company’s historical electricity demand and will guarantee a minimum level of energy production. TM Montante Development will own and maintain solar array. Both options will mirror the term on the real estate lease agreement (7 year minimum).

Riverview Solar Technology Park is a 180 acre master planned business park specifically designed for distributed solar energy projects and economic development. By bringing together a proprietary combination of programs and financing solutions, Riverview developer, TM Montante Development, is the first New York based developer able to offer its tenants a solar energy solution that provides power at rates LOWER than those offered from the utility. TM Montante recently completed a large scale feasibility study for the installation of distributed solar power generation throughout Riverview. As a result of the study and the findings, qualified businesses located within the park can now participate in the RISE Program.

Our lead installer holds a photovoltaic certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP), and TM Montante Development is a recognized NYSERDA eligible installer.
